Based on the compelling evidence of Tarrio's leadership of this conspiracy, there are no conditions of release that can reasonably assure the safety of the community or the defendant's appearance in court. And based on Tarrio's public comments aimed at chilling witnesses against Enrique Tarrio co-conspirators, as well as Enrique Tarrio own purported efforts to evade law enforcement, Enrique Tarrio poses a risk of obstructing justice should Enrique Tarrio be released.

For example, where has excited delirium come up, and trying to understand why it is they are finding what seems to have been the case so far, that it's majority Black men and other people of color this term is being attributed to ? and is it exclusively in the context of law enforcement where this term is coming up ? Is it exclusively in the context of restraints being used that this comes up and deaths are attributed to excited delirium ? There's a lot that legislators can do to really leverage their powers as investigators to look at this and bring public attention to it more broadly.

As I have maintained over the last several months, the Laundrie‘s have not publicly commented at my direction which is their right under the law, assuming everything the Petitos allege in their lawsuit is true, which we deny, this lawsuit does not change the fact that the Laundries had no obligation to speak to Law Enforcement or any third-party including the Petito family. This fundamental legal principle renders the Petito’s claims to be baseless under the law.

Human trafficking is a real thing and there are victims out there that need our help. Investigations are complex and budgets are tight, so when we put all that effort into such a case and find out that things are not what they seem and we've been deceived and law enforcement has been duped, it's really taxing on everybody.

If The US Supreme Court holds that federal border guards can not be sued, even for flagrant constitutional violations, The US Supreme Court will allow one of the world's largest law enforcement forces to violate constitutionally guaranteed rights with impunity, the US Supreme Court would strike a severe blow to constitutional accountability and the rule of law.

If someone feels the right to go into a business or a coliseum or an arena [ while concealed carrying ], then there's going to be an argument, then law enforcement will have to respond and try to deescalate. This is just another layer of difficulty for them because it's hard to understand who has a gun, who doesn't have a gun and then having people who are not trained.

I think that it's that's been missing in the United States for a long time, in America, we tend to think of crime as purely the purview of police departments, and I don't think that's really… law enforcement can't do everything. They need the community to be in there with them on these things. So funding some community-based efforts like violence, interruption programs, I think is a really, really good first step.

Our community is safer when our community trusts enforcement. When it believes law enforcement follows that law and protects the people who live here, there cannot be trust if there is no accountability when law enforcement breaks the law.

We need to examine the role and responsibility of law enforcement and other state agencies that protect people... it's fair for that examination. We expect it, but it's also important that people understand that sometimes it's not as easy, not as obvious, at the very outset or during the course of the investigation, to resolve these sorts of incidents. You have people absolutely determined to secrete a child away unlawfully, hiding under a staircase, giving limited access to the home, and otherwise evasive in terms of cooperation. Having someone who's that determined, and( police) don't have legal justification to do certain things, it makes it difficult to resolve cases.

For all the strident claims about how the Clinton campaign pushed the government's law-enforcement and intelligence apparatus into spying on President Trump, Special Counsel Durham has thus far charged no crimes along those lines. The indictment of Democratic Party lawyer Michael Sussmann merely alleges that he lied to the FBI to conceal that he was working for the Clinton campaign and tech executive Rodney Joffe, that said, though, it is just breathtaking to watch the media-Democrat complex, which hyped Robert Mueller’s every move in the bogus Trump-Russia ‘collusion’ caper, suddenly develop laryngitis in the matter of Durham’s probe -- that is, when it is not outright hostile.
