For me, I’m just as guilty as anybody, I don’t often realize just how much of an impact you can have or just how much someone is paying attention to what you do – just how much some young man or some young girl is looking up to you, i think those things are important to recognize and try to set a solid example at least or try to most of the time. The fans have been a huge part of my career and super proud to have that support and enjoy trying to make them proud in the process.

The severity of the crime is a factor… and I'm sure a prosecutor would argue that that is someone who is dangerous to the community shouldn't be released, but you also have to say the flip side to this which is that you are accused of a crime that you presumed to be innocent of, you could spend years fighting your case and you're found not guilty. Where's the justice in that?

Did the prosecutors do some things that I really don’t approve of? Yes. Did it rise to the level of prosecutorial misconduct from a legal standpoint? I don’t think it necessarily did. Them putting on evidence that they know was untrue? Totally inappropriate. But would that have been able to get Kyle a new trial if he was found guilty? I don’t think so.

I wasn't about to plead guilty to a crime I had absolutely nothing to do with, wasn't going to do it... at 18 years old, and I knew the system worked, so I knew that I would be vindicated, I wouldn't be found guilty of a crime I did not commit. I would not take a plea deal and admit to something I did not do.

I can’t understand how she can plead not guilty since she’s already been convicted of murdering her mom, the important thing about this is there is going to be a real trial. For us, this is a step in the right direction. I think it would be very helpful for everybody to understand the withheld information in relation to the case from Plato to NATO.

They're [state legislature] sort of guilty of serial over-criminalization. Unfortunately, they're consistently disappointing, which I understand, i mean, any parent is both in love with their child, but there's also expecting sometimes too much of them.
