cosmosis
Cosmosis is the process or condition of achieving a harmonious connection or unity with the cosmos or the universe. It refers to a state wherein an individual or entity attains a deep understanding or spiritual awakening that enables them to align their consciousness with the greater cosmic forces. Cosmosis involves transcending the mundane and limited perspective of the self to embrace a broader cosmic perspective, often leading to transformative experiences and a sense of interconnectedness with all existence.

Cosmosis
referred to as “becoming One with The Cosmos”, one of the central beliefs of Astronism stating that physical, spiritual, and intellectual union with the animate and whole entity known as The Cosmos is not only possible, but should be desirable as part of our existential purpose to progress and advance. It is considered to be achieved by all existential beings and entities as part of the cessation of their individual existences, such as the death of a human, which is known as post-corporeal cosmosis. The other form, which is known as corporeal cosmosis, forms the basis of the tradition of mysticism within Astronism known as Astrocism wherein it is believed that cosmosis is achievable during one’s life through transcension, cosmic devotion, space exploration, and enknowledgement.
