Examples of Goalies in a Sentence
The fastest guys in sports are ice hockey goalies. They have incredibly fast reaction times because they're getting pucks shot at them at very fast speeds. So it's them and the [ pitchers ] in baseball, when we measure esports athletes, they have been just as fast, or in some cases, faster, with their eyes.
Theres not many goalies that stop that puck, it shouldve been over right there. Honestly, on a dump-in, which is insane.
Celebrities, A-listers, and even hockey players that have people following them all over the place, it can't be easy, usually they say goalies are the quiet ones and I definitely fit that stereotype. I'm fairly quiet, not really that outgoing but in a situation like this you learn to be.
Any relief is welcome, believe me, it’s tough. What if all your goalies get it? What are you going to do? We’ve been through, as a management team, any number of scenarios surrounding the ‘what-ifs’ — or maybe we’re kidding ourselves and we should be thinking about the ‘whens,’ as far as who gets it and when.
I guess it could have gone either way after the second but we’re standing here again, leaving with no points, we’re not quitting on anyone. We’re not quitting on the coach, we’re not quitting on ourselves, or the team, the players, the goalies, nobody. Eventually you have to find a way to turn it around and obviously we’re hurting now with key players out. We’ve just got to figure it out.
