How many 30-year-olds could travel to Poland, get on the train? Go nine more hours, go to Ukraine, meet with President (Volodymyr) Zelensky? so, look at the man. Look what he’s doing. Look what he continues to do each and every day.

We are fighting racism. We’re fighting sexism. We’re fighting homophobia. I think we should also be fighting ageism. Trust people, look at people, and say, ‘You know, this person is competent. This person’s incompetent.’ There are a lot of 40-year-olds out there who ain’t particularly competent.

Our young people, including 16- and 17-year-olds, continue to fight and advocate for so many issues that they are passionate about from gun safety to the climate crisis, they have been tremendously engaged on policies affecting their lives and their futures.

You know, there's thousands and thousands of kids that have gone through these horrifying gender surgeries. And in places like Oregon, 15-year-olds can have these genital reassignment surgeries without the consent of their parents. I mean, that is absolutely horrifying, whatever people agree on — trans issues, LGBT — these are kids. You know, the fact that a kid can go behind their parents that can do this is absolutely shocking. And Cloud was just trying to highlight that there are kids out there, and they need their voices heard, and they shouldn't be silenced.

People like these 18-year-olds that have had their bodies altered in unnatural ways, and now they live to regret it. She is saying they don't exist. And, you know, this was a committee meeting about combating violence against LGBT people. Well, I have to say, people like this woman are the reason why people that detransition get hate, they get bullied. They get abuse because people like her in a position of power that say these people don't exist. You know, that shows that these people don't care about detransition. They don't care about it. They just care about the dream being sold that everyone who is trans is happy. And it's simply not the case.

For a century and a half, 18-year-olds could buy rifles and we didn’t have school shootings. But we do, maybe we’re focusing our attention on the wrong thing.

Since when is it acceptable to teach 11-year-olds that they may want to start trying risky sexual behaviors (risky is their word, not mine) but they should not use the words male and female and opt instead for person with a penis and person with a vulva? these lessons coupled with the sinister manipulation of language will have grave consequences. It must be called out and rejected.

I recall our first vote a year ago or more on the first Pfizer authorization, i was one of the 17 votes in favor. I remember those early discussions -- even then, should the 16 - and 17-year-olds be included ? At that point, that was a controversial topic that was being discussed. And here we are now, as a committee unanimously recommending authorization down to 6 months of age. So we've come a long way.

The state over the years has tried to give 17-year-olds the right to vote and 12-year-olds the right to make medical decisions, but we do not want to prosecute criminals as adults until they're age 25 because their brains are not fully developed.

We can not be satisfied by New York's already tough gun laws, shooting after shooting makes it clear that they must be even stronger to keep New Yorkers safe. This comprehensive package will close loopholes, give law enforcement the tools they need to prevent easy access to guns, and stop the sale of dangerous weapons to 18-year-olds.

To be sure, we are unable to divine the Founders' specific views on whether 18-to-20-year-olds had a stronger claim than 17-year-olds to the Second Amendment guarantee. The Founders may not even have shared a collective view on such a subtle and fine-grained distinction.

When do we come together as a community and as a city and say enough is enough? An 11-month-old child was shot two months ago, last week, a 7-year-old child was shot. Why does it take a 3-year-old to get us outraged? What about the 14- and 15-year-olds? They're children. They're getting shot, sometimes by other children. We need to fix this. We need to save these children and we need to save our city.

To me to take a guy who's 18 years old, who has what the government says is an extremely large collection of prepubescent pornography, eight-year-olds, 10-year-olds, 11-year-olds, we're talking about, I mean, gobs of hours of time here that he has, and you say to him, what you say well it was just a collection. I mean, he was just viewing it and it was, you know, essentially they were his peers. You say to him that he's not a pedophile. I don't know how you know that. I don't know why that's relevant to the guidelines. But maybe it is. You say he's not a pedophile. You say that you're very sorry for him. And what he suffered. And then you give him three months when, frankly, a liberal prosecutor is asking for two full years.

Part of what a judge is doing as required by Congress is thinking about this case, thinking about unwarranted sentencing disparities. That's in the statute. Other cases, other determinations that a judge may have made about this. I don't remember in detail this particular case, but I do recall it being unusual. to me to take a guy who's 18 years old, who has what the government says is an extremely large collection of prepubescent pornography, eight-year-olds, 10-year-olds, 11-year-olds, we're talking about, I mean, gobs of hours of time here that he has.

I love stories that show the imperfection of love within families and communities, i would love to [ continue doing that ] when I ’m done being a mom. I ’ll get back to it. I do n’t know when. Probably when they’re teenagers, solidly 16 - or 17-year-olds.

For grades pre-K through three, no five-year-olds, six-year-olds, seven-year-olds, and the idea that you wouldn't be honest about that and tell people what it actually says, it's why people don't trust people like you because you peddle false narratives. And so we just disabused you of those narratives.

My 4-year-old daughter's face remains covered, not seeing the smiles of her friends or teachers, continuing to mask 2 to 4-year-olds is unnecessary, and worse, does real harm to their educational and social growth.

It's happening in her state, she's so obsessed with masking two-year-olds and coddling criminals in New York City that she hasn't even uttered a word about this. She completely turns a blind eye, and it's happening and affecting our state.

Early childhood is so important, the die is cast for a lot of Americans before they’re 5 years-old, and I hate to say that — it's not like there aren’t examples of 17-year-olds who had really, really rough childhoods and ultimately succeeded — but the reality is, for an awful lot of Americans, the die is cast, even before you’re 5 years old.

I think we need to show why a booster dose is clearly of benefit to 18-29 year-olds, because if it's not clearly of benefit, we have to consider the fact that myocarditis was a second dose phenomenon and may also be a third dose phenomenon. Do the benefits clearly and definitively outweigh risks for 18-29 year old ?

If that's what critical race theory means, if it means separating 5-year-olds by race and telling some you're oppressors and the others you're the oppressed and giving up on a colorblind society and resegregation and racism is the essence of America- then I'm out. I'm out on that, but I'm in on Toni Morrison, I'm in on acknowledging racism still persist.
