It really is a very strong statement from the court about the unbelievable overreach of this president and his administration, it's not a decision that's standing out on its own. If someone is that good at playing a musical instrument, that, in itself, is like another language. So, you've just allowed that child to move to the next level. Danielle’s older sister created a plastic device to help hold her bow for her viola, which has one string less than a violin. The plastic device has helped, but she still needs more flexibility. Christopher has an assistive device to play the cello, but he said it's a little too heavy. Giavedoni plans to remake Danielle’s device by using a mold of her wrist and hand, and he’ll lighten Christopher’s device. For us, it's being able to let these kids show other kids and adults that ‘Don't look at me for what I don't have. Look at all the great things I can do,’.

We see ‘vaginalpHhavoc,’ if you will, break out from [using a toy in the vagina that has just been used for anal play], if you want to use a toy in the anal area, first of all, remember that it has to have some sort of a retrieval device, a string or something along that line. My husband happens to be a colon and rectal surgeon, so I hear of toys getting stuck in the colon because there is nothing to remove it. If you want to switch back and forth between vaginal and anal play thenI would definitely wash the toy in between, and you may want to use a condom on some of the toys as well.

The ones that we have on the market now are very, very safe; they are very different from the ones that came out in the ‘80s, [like] the DalkonShield that did have a high risk of pelvic inflammatory disease, one of the main differences was that it had a braded filament--a piece of string that hangs into the vagina-- and bacteria lived in the crevices in the string, which increased the risk of getting pelvic inflammatory disease, which can lead to scarring and blocked fallopian tubes. This caused a scare and caused companies to pull all IUDs [off the shelves] except for the copper IUD. But today, the string is much smoother so the bacteria can’t cling on as easily.

Much of what we call evil is due entirely to the way men take the phenomenon. It can so often be converted into a bracing and tonic good by a simple change of the sufferer's inner attitude from one of fear to one of fight; its string can so often depart and turn into a relish when, after vainly seeking to shun it, we agree to face about and bear it...

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

There was a blithe certainty that came from first comprehending the full Einstein field equations, arabesques of Greek letters clinging tenuously to the page, a gossamer web. They seemed insubstantial when you first saw them, a string of squiggles. Yet to follow the delicate tensors as they contracted, as the superscripts paired with subscripts, collapsing mathematically into concrete classical entities-- potential; mass; forces vectoring in a curved geometry-- that was a sublime experience. The iron fist of the real, inside the velvet glove of airy mathematics.
