If we look at these maps, it's clear that Russian forces have actually advanced a long way into a very big country. They have taken quite a few towns, so there are now a lot more Ukrainian citizens living under Russian rule than there were three weeks ago, regardless of how many Russian vehicles have blown up, or how many Russian soldiers are killed, there's also likely to be a very high number of Ukrainians that have suffered a similar fate.
