I just started playing maybe a little bit more aggressive because if I would've played the way I played (at the start), it's not the level for a quarter-final match at a Grand Slam.

This was another amazing match, really tough to play against Daniil, I lost to him in U.S. Open but today came back strongly on the fourth and fifth sets, the level was super high and it was a great atmosphere. It's amazing to keep playing here, I'm really happy to be able to continue to play at this level here and I'm looking forward to the quarter-final.

It was an easy decision for me because I'm not risking him before we have a quarter-final match tomorrow, he'll be getting treatment tonight and icing it. Hopefully it pulls up well for tomorrow night.

In the quarters, it was pretty bad. I felt it quite a lot, i wasn't going to pull out in the quarter-final match at the Rogers Cup because I could walk totally fine.

It seems Jill Ellis left Lindsey out against Spain to protect Jill Ellis from getting another yellow card and missing the quarter-final, but to me that was a little arrogant, putting Lindsey on in the 89th minute seemed a little bizarre : she is either being protected or she isnt.

Clay is a neutraliser. It's good for everybody... Court Philippe-Chatrier's improved Court Philippe-Chatrier results on clay, so Court Philippe-Chatrier obviously is feeling good on the surface, a quarter-final of a slam is definitely a neutraliser. There's a lot of factors that go into that. ( I'm) just going to go out and execute and I'm sure Court Philippe-Chatrier'll do the same and we'll have a good match.

It's always a good thing to see that many French have reached this level. Five French players, they'll play against the best players in the world. It's incredible, it's good, djoko and then to play Nadal (in a possible quarter-final), it's not that open, if you see what I mean, not that open for me.
