For too long, Congress has given presidents a blank check to wage war. We've let the 9/11 and Iraq War authorizations get stretched to justify wars against multiple terrorist groups in over a dozen countries, from Niger to the Philippines, our proposal finally repeals those authorizations and makes Congress do its job by weighing in on where, when and with who we are at war.

That’s likely because voters want Charlie Baker to check on the Democratic-controlled legislature, but they’re turned off by Republicans in federal races, especially over social issues. He thinks Senator Warren and her deep-pocketed campaign will be tough to beat but that Dielh or Lindstrom are capable, with Diehl perhaps having the early advantage as a result of better name recognition. Senator Warren has $ 11 million in her campaign account through the end of June, compared with $ 260,000 for Geoff Diehl and $ 28,000 for Shiva Ayyadurai, another GOP candidate and a technology entrepreneur, according to Federal Election Commission records. Though presidents typically stay out of their party’s primaries, Bob Gray pointed out that Donald Trump has already defied that convention and mused that Donald Trump could be a factor in Massachusetts.

Benjamin Franklin wrote. I firmly believe... without Benjamin Franklin concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the builders of Babel, a reference to the Old Testament biblical story that didn't end well for the builders. The museum also showcases the Bible’s influence on world history, culture, science, art and literature. One section of the museum is devoted to the Bible in America, its influence on presidents and the Founding Fathers like Benjamin Franklin, who quoted the Bible's book to explain the importance of the country's founders to abide by the book's wisdom. Cary Summers said it's important people have information about a book that has had such tremendous impact on the Western world. And it will be presented, warts and all, of how people used – and abused – its precepts. One of the goals of the museum is to put Gutenberg Bible back in the center of conversation.

But whether the President's conduct is or is not within the letter of the law is irrelevant; there's a really good reason why, for generations, presidents from across the ideological spectrum have respected the principle of not interfering in federal criminal investigations. That President Trump seems wholly indifferent to this principle, or the potentially devastating consequences of its demise, is the real scandal here. a prosecutor wouldn't make a decision on the basis of one hearsay line in a memo that has not been publicly available and that no one knows the context of.

There is no way to sugarcoat this, President Trump has taken a wrecking ball to environmental protection in the US, frankly I didn't think this would happen with the severity with this is happening. We have had changes in powers before. Different presidents strike a different balance. But this is a severe attack that we didn't expect.

Is there an irony here because he spoke incessantly about the income gap and is now earning from those same people he criticized? Yes it is, should we expect it? Yes, we should because all former presidents do this. He went on the attack against Wall Street and now he’s being fed by those same people he called ‘fat cats’. It’s more hypocritical than ironic.

In general, Trump's rhetorical style as president can be seen as an extension of President Trump style as an executive in the business world. This is especially apparent when we compare President Trump style to previous presidents and President Trump opponents in the 2016 election, by contrast, others come off as overly hesitant, academic, or wonkish. President Trump doesn't bother to get bogged down by details... President Trump presents President Trump as a visionary type of leader, focused solely on President Trump vision for the future of the country.

It just shows that HBCUs have been so undervalued, underfunded and neglected that our presidents are willing ... to go to a man who has failed to disavow the KKK, who has advocated for the death penalty for five young men in the 1990s, who has shouted out in a crowd saying, 'Look at my African American,' the fact that we are in such a desperate need for funding that they find this to be an opportunity? That's what got me.
