It’s pretty remarkable that the failure of one door could lead to how many deaths we had here, but that’s the reality of it, that one door played a critical role in allowing the fire to spread and the smoke and heat to spread vertically through the building.

That’s the ultimate challenge. When you look across the board at the efficiency with which Bryce Young has played with, he's got good weapons around him, he’s got a really good team around him, but make no mistake about it, he is elite at what he does. To have the number of touchdown passes, the interception ratio, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen really anything like it.

We're in a new age of football here, we're playing 17 games of football a year, and a lot of the stuff that happened before that, those records hold a different weight, being that they were played in those 16 games.

Life as I see it resembles much of a game, one that can't be won only played. So play your game, the one only you can play. Be present in every experience and aware of every moment, as it is being recorded in the book of life.

I thought we played hard, thought we did some things that we wanted to do, i think we had, again, two or three minutes with some lapses that they countered. Dug ourselves into a little hole, but we were able to respond.

I think it would be really, really hard to bring it as hard as you could or peak if you played 35 weeks out of the year, so the way I think about it is to play less but have more quality starts, and I do n’t give much thinking about peaking or not peaking particular weeks.

Jules, getting to know him, he’s an emotional guy. Because he puts so much into what he does. He probably wasn’t happy about that. Honestly, no big deal in my opinion. The dude played hard as hell, he fought extremely hard and he played well. So when you give everything you have for something and you put so much into something and it doesn’t work out or you’re being called out, sometimes it’s frustrating, but it’s the business that we’re in. And Julius is the image of the franchise. He’s the star player. Of course, he’s going to get more criticism. But that comes with it. And I think he understands it. If I remember well, his first year here he was getting booed consistently and then he bounced back and had an incredible season last year, so that shows a lot of mental toughness. So I’m not worried about Julius at all.

Obviously I would have liked to win tonight, coming back to this building, loved our first 25 minutes. We competed hard, played hard, it was a 1-1 hockey game, and from that point on when they scored the second goal it just seemed like everything went the wrong way. We didn’t compete anymore, we didn’t have the hard work, and real disappointing the last 35 minutes.

We’re in the longest football season ever played, what the guys did that set those records... in 16 games, it would n’t seem right for those to be broken in 17 games. It would n’t hold the same weight to me as it does for guys that have done that in a 16-game season, and the accomplishments those guys had, the seasons those guys put together. Those are incredible things, incredible accomplishments. You kind of have to separate the two.

Because of my commitment to the game, I relented to pressure directly from my coach to play injured. Despite the pain, I suited up, the staff injected me with what I now know was a powerful and sometimes dangerous painkiller that the NFLPA has warned against using, and I gave it my all for the team. I played until it was clear that I could not sue my ankle to safely perform my playing responsibilities. On top of that, the pain was extreme, i took a seat on the sideline and my coach came up to me, very upset, and shouted, ‘ What’s wrong with you ? What’s wrong with you ? ’ I told him, ‘ It’s my ankle. ’ But he knew that. It was well-documented and we had discussed it. He then ordered me to get on the field. I said, ‘ Coach I ca n’t. ’ He did n’t call for medical attention. Instead, he shouted at me, ‘ YOU ’RE DONE ! ’ while he ran his finger across his throat. Coach was telling me that if I did n’t play hurt, then I was done with the Bucs.

We made mistakes, we turned it over. They made mistakes, turned it over. Jaylen missed a layup at the end, we threw it right to him, we had three turnovers down the stretch, they missed a few shots. It was anybody’s game. We are thrilled that we got the victory. We played hard enough to win.

I don’t think we played with enough force. They dictated the start, they were attacking on both ends of the floor and we were back on our heels. You can’t do that against good teams. We gave them too much respect.
