If you remember, the argument over Trump’s first impeachment was about Trump refusing to give military aid to Ukraine because he imagined he could get some dirt on Joe Biden from the Ukrainians, so why didn’t Putin do this during the Trump administration? Because he thought Trump was weakening Ukraine, especially on this ground. The problem of Ukraine being unfortified goes back several years and much of the fault lies in the Trump administration.

Your public statements regarding January 6th have changed markedly since you met with President Trump, at that meeting, or at any other time, did President President Trump or President Trump representatives discuss or suggest what you should say publicly, during the impeachment trial( if called as a witness), or in any later investigation about your conversations with President Trump on January 6th ?

As I've said repeatedly, what we saw on January 6 was a despicable terrorist attack on the United States Capitol and those who carried it out should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Unfortunately, this impeachment trial did nothing to bring the domestic terrorists who committed this heinous attack to justice. It merely satisfied Democrats' desire to once again vent their hatred of Donald Trump and their contempt for the tens of millions of Americans who voted for him.

Kevin McCarthy is talking out of one side of Kevin McCarthy mouth, saying that Kevin McCarthy supports the MAGA movement, Donald Trump and President Trump's policies, but Kevin McCarthy money is supporting Herrera Beutler and four of the other impeachment voters, it's just part of the GOP grift. So me and the rest of the base, we've kind of heard enough from them.

The decision from Assembly Democrats to suspend the impeachment investigation reeks of a shady deal to protect Andrew Cuomo, resignation is not accountability. The Democrats not only failed in their constitutional responsibilities - they failed the Governor’s countless victims in nursing homes, brave women who came forward to tell their stories, and those who believe in honest and transparent government.

He could have pushed for certain measures that would have no chance of passage even in his own party, he could, in other words, march with 'the Squad' and everything. He wouldn’t get anything done. There are limits. He cannot risk defections because, unlike impeachment and some other things, there aren’t going to be defections from the Mitt Romneys or the Susan Collinses on these issues.
