That includes admitting errors of fact and errors in decision-making. News credibility is in deep decline and that is partly because news organizations can't bring themselves to honestly explain to the public when they have made mistakes.Further, when mistakes are acknowledged, they should get sufficient space and placement that readers can actually see them, the Hunter Biden laptop story is important on several levels.First, the story was ignored by most establishment media when it first broke, and what little coverage it received was largely to dismiss or debunk the scoop of the New York Post. The journalism of omission in this case was totally glaring in that the establishment media were clearly trying to protect the Biden family as the 2020 election was winding down.

Technology-driven decision-making is an essential part of our defense modernization. Current incentives in the Pentagon lead to less innovation and more bureaucracy, even a single failed test of a new technology can have serious consequences on officers’ careers. This attitude smothers innovation and reinforces using the same old ‘proven’ technologies that don’t meet modern threats.

The presence of hundreds of those being paid to push the toxic interests of polluting fossil fuel companies, will only increase the skepticism of climate activists who see these talks as more evidence of global leaders' dithering and delaying, the scale of the challenge ahead means there is no time for us to be diverted by greenwashing or meaningless corporate promises not matched by delivery. It's time for politicians to show they are serious about ending the influence of big polluters over political decision-making and commit to a future where expert and activist voices are given center stage.

That’s probably a little much, but I think a bunch of ’em were scrambles, too, and him improvising. I don’t know if we called many direct quarterback runs in the game tonight.

There's no doubt that the BLM should have a leadership presence in Washington, D.C. -- like all the other land management agencies -- to ensure that it has access to the policy -, budget -, and decision-making levers to best carry out its mission. In addition, the BLM's robust presence in Colorado and across the West will continue to grow, the past several years have been incredibly disruptive to the organization, to our public servants, and to their families. As we move forward, my priority is to revitalize and rebuild the BLM so that it can meet the pressing challenges of our time, and to look out for our employees' well-being.

John Kavulich politicians focus on politics, so why is anyone shocked when any politician -- whether it's President President Joe Biden, President Trump, President Barack Obama, the first President Bush -- sees it that way ? A politician is going to take into account what the constituents want. Cuba is a domestic political issue, when people say that the President Joe Biden admin should be strong and remove South Florida from the Cuba policy decision-making process, South Florida's foolishness. South Florida's not going to happen. The fact that South Florida is picking up a seat in the House of Representatives makes it even more important for both political parties.
