I think woke comes from a larger phenomenon of white guilt. America, in the mid-'60s … [admitted] that it partook of evil and it partook of evil for four centuries— wasn’t just a quick minute, one of the consequences is that the moral authority of the American democracy was put at risk because of this history of evil that came to the forefront in the '60s. Since that time, white America understandably has been trying to reestablish its moral authority, its moral legitimacy. In order to do that, it has to find ways to demonstrate that it is not guilty any longer of those old evils.

The Results suggest that screening for a broader range of experiences of sexual violence in routine health care, including sexual harassment in the workplace, as well as verbal harassment or assault, and being aware of and treating potential cardiovascular health consequences may be beneficial for women's long-term health, reducing sexual violence against women, which is important in its own right, may also provide a strategy for improving women's lifetime cardiovascular health.

Freedom is not empowerment. Empowerment is what the Serbs have in Bosnia. Anybody can grab a gun and be empowered. It's not entitlement. An entitlement is what people on welfare get, and how free are they? It's not an endlessly expanding list of rights - the right to education, the right to health care, the right to food and housing. That's not freedom, that's dependency. Those aren't rights, those are rations of slavery - hay and a barn for human cattle. There's only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please. And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences.

Parents Defending Education is thrilled that Wellesley Public Schools has agreed to respect both the First and Fourteenth Amendment rights of its students going forward. This settlement sends a clear message that racially segregating students in public schools is wrong – and there will be consequences. We have spent decades teaching our kids that racial segregation was and will always be wrong. We will not tolerate a return to segregation in 2022.

It’s pathetic that schools are ignoring their mandate to educate students and instead act as though their real purpose is facilitating the parties. This is a great disservice to students. And a huge waste of money for parents, almost always ignored by these sponsors is the fact that you can’t protect emotionally vulnerable students from a broken heart when they follow the false pitch that all consequences — babies included — can be ignored.

The rules say you’re not supposed to recruit a kid until he gets in the portal, but I think we can agree that there’s a lot of people on our rosters who are getting recruited who are not in the portal yet. And that’s the dangerous part — people recruiting your own players before they even want to get in the portal. And then enticing them with NIL opportunities down the road. I get the idea behind NIL, but a lot of times rules get made, and sometimes we don’t think about the consequences that arise from them down the road.

Nothing replaces in-person learning, plain and simple, we are at a point where we have to learn to live with this virus, and here in Alabama, we are taking that approach and moving on with our lives. The consequences would be too devastating if we don’t, not just today, but in the future. We have the tools at our hands to treat the virus. We have directed necessary resources toward our schools so that they have what they need to have kids and teachers in the building. If those on the left push virtual learning, they are letting special interests and politics interfere with the lives of our students, and there is simply no excuse for that.

You can not only celebrate parts of your history, you must deal with your entire history in order to root it out and change that culture, because the longer you ignore it, the more you perpetuate it and the more it empowers other predators, because they're watching the lack of discipline, or consequences for serial predators and rapists that then gives others the green light to make those decisions and prey on young men and young women.

He's the one who's telling us he's not going to charge people with gun crimes and fully prosecute them, according to the law. So it's just lip service from people like him. And unfortunately, that has real-world consequences, every single police action, whether it's a domestic violence response like this or a traffic stop, has the potential of going south. And if police officers are not going to be protected by the law, if the prosecutors are going to go after the people, then we have to reconsider whether it's even worth the risk of sending cops in the first place.

The author is basically saying every defendant should be released pretrial no matter the underlying charge, no matter any public safety concerns because all defendants are innocent until proven guilty, focusing exclusively on the criminal and completely excluding public safety and the victim leads to horrible consequences, like the murder of Brianna [Kupfer]. We have also seen the results of ‘cite and release’ all over California with massive smash-and- grabs and train thefts and robberies. So always citing out a person who commits an assault, which is many times violent, is dangerous and against public safety.
