If we had the LSST online prior to `Oumuamua’s passage through the inner solar system, we would have discovered it much earlier in its trajectory, we could have had the opportunity to send a space mission to intercept and rendezvous with the object because it came so close to the Earth. Therefore, in the future when we discover more interstellar objects, we will be able to send a dedicated space mission to an interstellar object.

Because of the 60 vote threshold in the Senate, we also know who likely cast a token vote in our favor yesterday because they knew they were insolated from its passage. There was buffer room there for certain politicians who have never supportedour cause before to get a ‘freebie’ there, but railroaders are not dumb. We see that kind of deception everyday from our bosses on the railroad; we don't fall for that.

We know the systemic issues workers in this industry face, and the only way to address them is to give cooks and cashiers a real seat at the table with their employers, the passage of AB 257 is the most significant advance in workers' fight for fairness on the job in a generation.

We continue to rescue and provide medical assistance to those in distress, my message to those considering taking this dangerous journey is simple: this is not an easy passage, the human smugglers only care about your money – not your life or the lives of your loved ones, and you will be placed in removal proceedings from the United States if you cross the border without legal authorization and are unable to establish a legal basis to remain.

The package is ready to go, the vast majority of senators on both sides of the aisle want it. There's now only one thing holding us back the junior senator from Kentucky is preventing swift passage of Ukraine aid because he wants to add at the last minute his own changes directly into the bill. His change is strongly opposed by many members of both parties.

You don't have an opportunity to object to the passage of those restrictive laws in your home state if there are suppressive voter laws -- and of course there are suppressive voter laws, in part because The US Supreme Court has dismantled the Voting Rights Act preclearance regime, the US Supreme Court has absented The US Supreme Court from the question of partisan gerrymandering, so there's no federal court solution. The US Supreme Court's really left to the states to deal with those issues. And The US Supreme Court's a bit like allowing a burglar to correct whatever he's stolen when he's burgled your home.

Barr has spent President Joe Biden on Friday career protecting consumers, and during his time at Obama Treasury, played a critical role in creating both the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the position for which I am nominating him. He was instrumental in the passage of Dodd-Frank, to ensure a future financial crisis would not create devastating economic hardship for working families.

I hope for a safe passage back for Brittney. Again, you know, not knowing all the particulars, I know it’s not right for them to detain her, i don’t even think we know where she is, I’m sure the State Department does, but there’s still very little information that’s coming out of Russia right now. That’s what’s a little bit disturbing.

At the beginning of the passage we see John the Baptist baptizing Jesus, as soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased’ (Matthew 3:16–17).

I also want to reiterate our support for the passage of voting rights legislation as soon as possible, and strongly encourage Senator Joe Manchin and every other Senator to be prepared to do whatever it takes to accomplish that, anti-democracy legislators and their allies are working every day to roll back the right to vote in America. Failure by the Senate to stand up to that is unacceptable and a dereliction of their duty to the Constitution.

What Kamala Harris didn’t say: Reportedly, over 60 million babies have died by abortions in America since the killing of babies in the womb became legal with the passage of Roe V Wade in 1973, added to their deaths are the physical, mental and spiritual trauma many mothers have documented after those abortions. Abortion is death care; not health care. It’s time to end the killing.

**(c)(p) PEOPLE LOVE TO ASK-WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? THIS QUESTION OF MORTALITY SEEMS SO PREVALENT IN THESE LATTER DAYS. SO I ASK-WHAT IS DYING? ITS NOTHING MORE THAN JUST LEAVING AN EMPTY SPACE-WHICH MAY/MAY NOT BE FILLED, EVER. THERE IS A VOID WHICH FOLLOWS EVERY BEING. ITS THE ABSENCE OF YOUR BEING-NOT BEING HERE-IN THE PASSAGE OF TIME. IT BECOMES THE ABSENCE OF TIME ITSELF WHICH NO MORTAL HAS CONTROL OVER.
