One of the best ways to get an individual voter out to the polls is through a personal appeal. In this sense, a personal appeal means an appeal to a specific person and not people in general.

A subtle but effective way of encouraging an irregular voter is by slightly altering your vocabulary when you ask questions. For reasons that are unclear, people’s internal identity is only loosely connected to their actions—until they’re reminded of the discrepancy between the two. Use that to your advantage by emphasizing the identity of being a voter rather than the act of voting.

A candidate has to understand that that is what it’s like running against Donald Trump, the age of having carefully controlled media appearances and a moderate approach to content creation – that is not going to work against Trump, who, whether he wants to make news or somebody else wants to make news about him, it happens every single day. It happens constantly. And the only way to occupy attention in a voter’s mind is to fight him for that space.

Partisan critics of Georgia’s elections described our processes and security measures as ‘ Jim Crow 2.0 ’ designed to ‘ suppress ’ voters and ‘ subvert ’ elections, but record-breaking midterm voter turnout, minimal voter wait times and an overwhelming majority of voters approving of how our election went prove that Georgia voters see through those lies. They know that Georgia elections are safe, secure and accessible to every legal voter.

Georgia's election laws strike an appropriate balance between election security and voter convenience, we saw record voter turnout in 2022, extremely high voter turnout for a midterm election, at levels that prove claims of voter suppression are just as trumped up as claims of stolen elections.

None of the matters involving January 6th, however, are relevant to the specific allegations of voter fraud concerning Mr. and Mrs. Meadows that were referred to my office for review, my office has concluded that there is not sufficient evidence to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt against either Mr. or Mrs. Meadows, so my office will not prosecute this case. If further information relevant to the allegations of voter fraud comes to light in any subsequent investigation or prosecution by authorities in other jurisdictions, we reserve the right to reopen this matter.

I think anybody who knows what Republican National Committee actually does understands that we build the infrastructure, we do the voter registration, we are doing community centers and outreach, we build a road that the candidates drive on. We put the candidates in a position to win, but we do n’t do the messaging for the candidates, and we do n’t pick the candidates. LEE ZELDIN URGES RNC'S Ronna McDaniel NOT SEEK RE-ELECTION AS CHAIR.

Now there will be those both in our state and across the country who will point to our victory tonight and try to use it to argue there is no voter suppression in Georgia, let me be clear. The fact that millions of Georgians endured hours in lines – and were willing to spend hours in line – lines that wrapped around buildings and went on for blocks, lines in the cold, lines in the rain, is most certainly not a sign voter suppression does not exist.

You can make the argument that there is no reason to have this law. The voters all knew that there was a chance that (DeSantis) would not complete his term as governor and that he was at the very least considering a presidential run, no voter could say I was duped into voting for someone.

We saw that there were some scanner problems, the scanner is the device that actually takes an image of the ballot and records the ballot, we saw that there were some duo problems – the duo is the device where the voter actually makes their selections and prints their selections onto the ballot. We saw that there were some ballot jams.

The states across the country saw record voter turnout. And the heart and soul of our democracy — the voters, the poll workers, the election officials — they did their job and they fulfilled their duty, and apparently without much interference at all — without any interference, it looks like, and that’s a testament, I think, to the American people.

It is important that we do these investigations, and I think now, more than ever, the whole issue of voter confidence has been rattled. It’s really important, as election officials, for us to pursue those cases so we can show that we're following through.

There is a direct correlation between the state’s sweeping anti-voter law, S.B. 202, and Cobb County’s failure to get over a thousand registered voters their absentee ballots, the anti-voter law put tremendous pressure on elections officials to accomplish a number of responsibilities under a very tight deadline, and in Cobb County, that pressure has resulted in a huge error and hundreds of voters at risk of being disenfranchised.

Candidate quality is a big factor in compelling voter trust, and when you have candidates like John Fetterman, who is struggling to recover from a stroke and unable to handle the rigors of the campaign trail, and even incumbents like Raphael Warnock and Mark Kelly who have no accomplishments to run on, it's that much harder of a sell. Because politics is about policy, yes, but it's also about connecting to voters in a visceral way and convincing them you can be trusted with their interests. Democrats are just out to sea on both.
