I think happy is a place that you go to visit, and I think that for me, striving to be a hundred percent happy all the time is just unattainable. It’s like sometimes you have to look in the mirror and be like, ‘I’m having a great day today.’ You know what I mean? And you have to give yourself that pep talk. Then some days you’re like, ‘No, I feel like absolute trash right now.’ But I think that the point is like you never know what’s really happening and life is complex and so nobody’s one shade of anything. There’s a spectrum of light and dark and happy and sad and it’s constantly moving.

Just ask former President Hillary Clinton how questions about the mishandling of classified information can impact the prospects of a campaign. It’s a non ideological issue that resonates with voters across the spectrum. Biden's ability to weather the storm will determine not only the prospect of his 2024 chances, but also the remainder of his first term. it depends on the quantity and depends on the content of the documents. But what it does do is it increases the laugh track sound at Mar-a-Lago because it just reduces, for many people, the anger about Trump and his documents and makes it easier for Biden to be criticized.

As we wait for our next helping of ‘Succession,’ apparently coming in spring 2023, ‘The Bear’ provided us with a similarly addictive dose of vividly memorable characters, family drama and eye-popping surprises, albeit on the opposite end of the class spectrum, but is it a comedy or a drama?

As a former Black Democrat who left the party in 2020 and voted Republican for the first time, the reasons are quite simple, this is not 1965. The Democratic use of racism against the Republican Party is outdated. Denying biological facts is not a winning issue, women across the political spectrum are tired of being silenced for demanding that our dignity and status be protected, and the voices of female athletes are among the most powerful. What happened in women’s NCAA swimming this year is the tip of the iceberg under the Biden Administration who continues to push radical policies and can’t even define a woman.

There’s such a spectrum of shades of people. Unless you’re talking to someone who is, like, 100% African, from the darkest place, where they are not wearing any clothes all day and they’ve developed all that melanin to protect themselves from the sun, you know, even the term Black is weird. When you use it for people who are literally my color, it becomes very strange.

What a sad commentary on our politics. We're simply acknowledging reality is now seen as a profile in courage, people sometimes say to me, ‘You know, you didn’t use to make fun of the left as much.' Yeah, because they didn't give me so much to work with. The oath of office I took was to comedy. And if you do goofy s---, wherever you are in the spectrum, I'm going to make fun of you because that's where the gold is.
