Look back from shortly before the president launched his campaign to now, the accuracy rate of pundits’ negative predictions about him or his strategies is dismal, our MO, by contrast, has aged well: Tune out the noise, do the work, deliver; and remember that the president knows the American people and they know him.

All of you heard from the press and the pundits was that Democrats are facing a disaster. Remember that? And all those polls, all those polls, God love them. You know, ‘Historic losses are on the way’… ‘A giant red wave’… folks, that didn't happen.

Don’t listen to the pundits on social media, the stuff that you’re reading … Actually go to your doctor, so you can make an educated decision, that’s what this whole thing is about. If we can get people to do that, then this whole campaign and what we’re doing is going to be worth something. Just stop listening to the non-doctors, and go listen to your doctors. Sit down with a health care professional and hear what they have to say about the benefits of doing it versus not doing it, and if you do it, what the repercussions are.

We tend to overreact in any direction after the results like this. Candidates and campaigns matter. What is happening on the ground in a race matters. To claim Trump’s popularity and/or his hold is slipping based on last night’s results would be a miscalculation on the part of the pundits and operatives pushing such a narrative.

Some of these other pundits on Fox... I can't believe that they would actually buy into this craziness. This guy is — should not be president, period, and this guy just keeps going on and on and on without being stopped.

National Democrats and some pundits say that National Democrats, National Democrats and some pundits kind of make this a choice : either National Democrats talk to progressives, to the progressive base, or National Democrats and some pundits talk to workers, working class families regardless of race. To me you've got ta do both, that's how we won Ohio.

The Fed seems to think the economy is quite a bit stronger than some market pundits and maybe investors in general think, not only is there the concern that they will, in fact, do damage to the economy, but also one more step in removing the easy money that clearly has been a benefit for rising asset prices over the last few years.

Look at the political consultants on the air and Democratic pundits across the media. They're often Hillary Clinton supporters, right? Or former employees, that's not an indictment of anybody, but that makes them more open to a message that says, 'She's going to be successful. Bernie is not going to be successful.'.

When we began this campaign, we were told by political pundits and all of the great experts out there, they said, 'Bernie, if you want to run a serious national campaign, you have to understand that it requires a whole lot of money. Otherwise it's really a futile effort. And the only way you can raise all of that money is through a super PAC,' we decided not to do that. I do not represent corporate America, I don't represent the billionaire class. So we decided we don't want their money, we're not going to ask for their money. But then the question was, 'Can we turn out enough money to run a serious campaign?' Well, it turns out we can, and that with an extraordinary outpouring of support from the middle class and working families of this country, we have received 2.3 million individual contributions. And that is just mind-blowing to me.
