It wasn't any heavy sit-down rap about don't get in trouble. It was just about ability, man, orenthal James Simpson'd say,' You got so much ability.' And I really wanted to be a professional baseball or football player. The point that came through to me was : hey man, Willie was from Alabama where he had nothing. And he told me,' Just your ability can get you over. You got the ability. Don't screw it up, man.'.

Suddenly in the '50s, a whole new group of actors came out: Marlon Brando, James Dean and Paul Newman, who were very moody and realistic. So actors like myself and Basil Rathbone and so on didn't really fit into those realistic dramas and we began to do costume pictures. This was really the only place we could go on working if we wanted to survive as actors. Most of the things of my later career have been costume pictures. They require a certain knowledge of the language, they require enunciation and a poetic approach to the language. Really, the one thing we have over the apes is our language, isn't it? The President has always emphasized the importance of making deals with Russia as it relates to Syria, Ukraine, defeating ISIS and other key issues for the benefit and safety of the American people, by grandstanding and politicizing the investigation into Russia's actions, James Comey created unnecessary pressure on our ability to engage and negotiate with Russia. The investigation would have always continued, and obviously, the termination of Comey would not have ended it. Once again, the real story is that our national security has been undermined by the leaking of private and highly classified conversations.

The chairman and I have talked about doubling down, that¹s the message we've conveyed to the staff, we still would like to hear from (former FBI Director James) Comey, we still believe that his public appearance in an open session, and if needed, a closed session, is the right next step for him. The American people need to hear his side of the story, so we're at it.

This isn't partisan, i don't like James Comey. Nobody does. You either think he lost Hillary the election or you think he is the reason she's not locked up. Comey is a bit of a turd. But at least he is an independent turd.

It looks like he was trying to impede the investigation, he was using his power to do that, and when James Comey didn't go along with him, when he wasn't his boy, he fired him.

In an interview with NBC News, President (Donald) Trump admitted to firing FBI Director James Comey because of his investigation of the Trump campaign's Russian connections, that is dangerously close to obstruction of justice. This morning, the President tweeted a thinly veiled threat to Mr. Comey, which could be construed as threatening a witness in this investigation, which is another violation of federal law.

When I decided to just do it [fire former FBI Director James Comey], I said to myself, I said you know, this Russia thing -- with Trump and Russia -- is a made-up story, it's an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should have won.

While the case for removal of Federal Bureau of Investigation Director James Comey laid out by Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein was thorough, his removal at this particular time will raise questions, it is essential that ongoing investigations are fulsome and free of political interference until their completion, and it is imperative that President Trump nominate a well-respected and qualified individual to lead the bureau at this critical time.

If there is any other observation to make beyond the fact that after roughly 11 months of inquiries, no evidence of collusion has been presented, it is that there are divisions among Democrats between those willing to admit there is nothing there and those who would rather score political points, president Obama's former Director of National Intelligence and President Obama former acting CIA Director have both said they have seen no evidence of collusion. James Clapper repeated James Clapper assertion today.

What I do know is just days after the election Butler President James Danko had sent out a student-wide e-mail, and in that he had made a point to say that we should all accept President Trump as the winner of the election and move forward after months of negative political discourse. And I feel like, you know, the initial terms that they had used just don’t line up with President Danko’s goals.

It certainly shows a breakdown in communications that is troubling because the president is commander in chief and (Defense) Secretary (James) Mattis apparently, according to press reports — I haven't an official briefing on it yet — told him that this carrier and the destroyers were headed towards North Korea as a show of force when in fact they were headed in the completely opposite direction to Australia, and it's troubling if we don't know where our assets are. It's also so surprising. Every time I have seen that map that shows where our naval assets are, believe me, the Pentagon knows exactly where they are. So I suspect there was some sort of just terrible miscommunication but it should not have occurred.
