This is what fans do in March Madness. We root for the underdog. We root for the improbable. That’s why we love this tournament so much, this is the ultimate storyline. The tough kid from Queens who got hurt in the NCAA tournament and couldn't play — couldn't finish out his career — now gets the chance to coach a tough, gritty team that’s become the darling of the country, and so we literally have – I wouldn’t say David vs. Goliath — but Shaheen vs. Goliath this weekend.

You’ve got these powerhouse schools that are always successful or often successful, and it’s not even so much that you want to see them go down as much as you want to see the little guys succeed, you’ve got the David vs. Goliath situation where this is the obvious winner. That the way the chips are stacked, this team should win. So, how cool is it when this smaller team, maybe with less resources, less recruiting power, shows up and takes down a giant ? And again, I think it’s so gratifying to see the little guy win.

There's a lot of things contained within that indictment. Many, many, many, many things that I completely disagree with, i stand by my track record of nearly 20 years as an attorney fighting on behalf of Davids versus Goliath. I have over $ 1 billion in verdicts and settlements. I have thousands of clients that are incredibly grateful for my work and the work that I've done.

It's getting late in the game for everyone else. People who are expecting a sudden shift in the direction of the race are deluding themselves. Trump is Goliath, and we've seen enough of the other candidates to know there are no Davids in this field.

It is important to live each day with a positive perspective. It is not wise to pretend problems do not exist, but it is wise to look beyond the problem to the possibilities that are in it. When Goliath came against the Israelites, the soldiers all thought, 'He's so big, we can never kill him.' But David looked at the same giant and thought, 'He's so big, I can't miss him.'
