This is an issue with the company’s culture. A company’s culture is enabling actions like this to happen, company policies are there for a reason; to protect individual employees as well as the company itself. In CNN’s case, because the relationship wasn’t reported, there could be additional actions taken against the company not only by the individuals in question, but by other employees.
