    Stonava (Polish: Stonawa , German: Steinau) is a municipality and village in the Karviná District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,900 inhabitants. It lies on the Stonávka River, in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia. Polish minority makes up 19.4% of the population.
