    John Rankin (born 27 June 1983) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is currently the head coach of Hamilton Academical. Rankin played as a central midfielder for Ross County, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Hibernian, Dundee United, Falkirk, Queen of the South and Clyde.
