January 2006: Founders move into Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) after forming a strategic partnership in research and development. November 2005: SolFocus is awarded the top prize at NREL's 18th Industry Growth Forum as Clean Energy Entrepreneur of the Year. November, 2005: SolFocus is founded by Gary D. Conley and Steve Horne to commercialize the concentrator photovoltaic technologies (CPV) they developed at H2Go. H2Go, founded by Mr. Conley in 2004, is where investigative research and initial development on what is now SolFocus concentrator technology was performed.
