    Shaddock is a term used to refer to a large, round or pear-shaped citrus fruit with a thick rind, also known as a pomelo or pummelo. The fruit originally comes from Southeast Asia and is scientifically known as Citrus maxima or Citrus grandis. It is one of the original species from which most other citruses have been hybridized.
