    PM, typically written as "p.m.", is a term used in the 12-hour clock system to represent the time frame from noon to just before midnight. PM stands for "post meridiem" which is Latin for "after noon". It refers to the period of the day after the sun has passed the celestial meridian (the highest point in the sky) and is typically written or stated directly after the numeric time, such as 5:00 p.m. Furthermore, in project management, PM could also stand for project manager, the person responsible for leading a project from its inception to completion.
