    Orleton is a small village in northern Herefordshire, England, at grid reference SO493672. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 794. The village is known for its lovely parish church, St George's, where, legend holds, the resurrection of the dead will begin at the Last Trump. The Norman nave with some 14th century stained-glass windows has a west end 13th century tower. The c1200 door was moved and reset, while the early 13th c chancel has lancet windows. The tie-beam roof may be 14th c. There is a late Norman (c1100) font has nine of the disciples standing under arches. It has a 17th c pulpit. The vestry was Victorian.
