Mishima is a city located in eastern Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. As of June 2012, the city has an estimated population of 111,726 and a population density of 1,800 persons per km². The total area is 62.13 km². Its population has expanded since the opening of the Tōkaidō Shinkansen line made it possible to commute to Tokyo.
