   Kundu is a surname found among Indians in different states.They are believed to have been pure aryans who migrated to India.There are various theories as to their ancestors.One of the sons of revered brahmin sage Dadhichi was named Kundu, There were Kshatriyas who participated in Mahabharata war named Kundivisa. There was another revered sage named Kundu who is believed to have been deceived by lord Indra becoming feared by his powers.
