Kevin Michael Harvick (born December 8, 1975), nicknamed "The Closer" and "Happy Harvick," is an American professional racing driver. A veteran of stock car racing, he competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 4 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing. He is the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion, as well as the 2001, and 2006 Xfinity Series champion and 2007 Daytona 500 winner. Harvick holds the all-time record for Cup Series wins at Phoenix Raceway with nine wins. Harvick's 119 combined national series wins currently rank him third all-time in NASCAR history, behind Richard Petty and Kyle Busch respectively, while his 58 Cup wins are the ninth most in series history. He is the second longest tenured active driver in the Cup series in terms of career starts, behind Kurt Busch. Harvick, who began his NASCAR career in 1992, is the third of only five drivers that have won a championship in both the Cup Series and the Xfinity Series, and the fifth of only thirty-four drivers to win a race in each of NASCAR's three national series. Harvick is the former owner of Kevin Harvick Incorporated, a race team that fielded cars in the Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series between 2004 and 2011.

We changed our whole lives in order to try to accomplish everything that we did last year, we were able to pull it off despite changing basically everything that we've ever done. That's very rewarding for not only DeLana and Kevin Harvick, but everybody who has been involved in it.
Smart crew chief, fast car and great driver, it's the same scenario with the No. 4 car now and the same mojo. It's equally as hard to beat Kevin Harvick now as it was to beat Jimmie Johnson a few years ago.
