    Invenergy is an American based multinational power generation development and operations company. The company develops, builds, owns and operates power generation and energy storage projects in the Americas, Europe and Asia, including wind, solar, and natural gas power generation and energy storage facilities. It is s North America's largest privately held renewable power generation company.According to Invenergy, the company has developed 164 projects totaling 25,100 megawatts of capacity. These include 15,318 megawatts of wind over 101 projects, 3,874 megawatts of solar over 35 projects, 5,642 megawatts of natural gas over 12 projects and 300 megawatts of energy storage facilities capable of supplying 900 megawatt hours of electricity. These totals include projects in operation, under construction or contracted.

    Invenergy, LLC develops, builds, owns and operates energy generation projects in North America and Europe. Its portfolio includes wind, solar, and natural gas-fueled generation facilities. It is one of the six largest owners of wind generation plants in the United States and is North America's largest independent wind power generation company. According to Invenergy, the company has developed more than 3,400 MW of wind farms in operation; more than 2,200 MW of natural gas-fueled facilities in operation; and 40 MW of solar projects in operation. More than 1,200 MW of renewable and clean energy projects are under contract or in construction. Wind production is spread over 40 operating projects, with several others currently in development and construction. Founded in 2001, Invenergy is based in Chicago, Illinois, but also has North American offices in Denver and Toronto. European activity is centered in Warsaw. In January 2013, Quebec's public pension fund manager, the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, invested $500 million in the company's portfolio of operating wind farms.
