Examples of hopelessly in a Sentence

  1. Emeasoba George:

Live as if you will die today. That is to say, live impactfully and positively as if today is your last day on earth. Moreover, work as if you can't break down. In other words, work hard as much as you can. Speak as if you've seen what the future holds for you. That is to say, speak positively and hopefully too always and never negatively or hopelessly no matter what happens. ~Emeasoba George.

  2. Bob Hope:

People who throw kisses are hopelessly lazy.

  3. Lionel Trilling:

A theory of the middle class: that it is not to be determined by its financial situation but rather by its relation to government. That is, one could shade down from an actual ruling or governing class to a class hopelessly out of relation to government, thinking of government as beyond its control, of itself as wholly controlled by government. Somewhere in between and In gradations is the group that has the sense that gov't exists for it, and shapes its consciousness accordingly.

  4. President Barack Obama:

According to them everything was really good in 2008, when we were going through the worst economic crisis in our lifetimes, unemployment and uninsured rates were up, we were hopelessly addicted to foreign oil and (Osama) bin Laden was still on the loose. This apparently was the golden age that I messed up.

  5. Emeasoba George:

No one is done for/finished until the person involved thinks/says so. Listen up, life is a matter of choice of mentality, mindset and utterance. I mean, you have a sole right/choice to decide either to think/speak hopefully/positively or hopelessly/negatively. Yes of course, you've got the right/choice. But I urge you as usual. Irrespective of your current condition/ordeal choose to think/speak hopefully/positively and not at all the opposite. For, that's just the way you should think/speak all the time/way.
