Head On
Head On is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Bachman–Turner Overdrive, released in December 1975. It is considered to be a turning point for the band, musically speaking, being that it was somewhat different musically than the previous albums. On the original vinyl release, the album came with a 24x24 inch poster featuring all the members in the band at that time. It was re-released in 2003 on Repertoire Records in conjunction with Mercury Records. The re-release featured the bonus track "Down to the Line", which was released as a single in 1975 but not included on the vinyl nor the original Mercury CD release of Head On. The single "Take It like a Man" reached #33 on the US charts and received significant airplay at that time. Pioneering rocker Little Richard played piano on the recording. Near the end of the song, C.F. Turner tells him to "play it Richard", and he does, with heavy expression. Another single from this album, "Lookin' Out for #1", did not crack the Top 40, but received heavy airplay upon its release on both conventional rock and soft rock FM stations. This album is currently in print.

CBS News reported last night that a Trump confidante said that GOP senators were warned: vote against your president ... and your head will be on a pike, i hope it's not true. But I was struck by the irony of the idea, when we're talking about a president who would make himself a monarch, that whoever that was would use the terminology of a penalty that was imposed by a monarch, a head on a pike.
I think the criticism is understandable -- the terrorists themselves are claiming to be doing this in the name of Islam, and the White House is having to walk this very fine line, it basically risks scorn because people are going to take away from this -- some people -- that the White House is bending over too far backwards and not addressing the problem head on.

Hesitancy is not an option, misinformation is not only simply harming those who believe it, but also those who don't. We must tackle each of these issues head-on : vaccine equity and misinformation. And if vaccine distribution moved half as quickly as misinformation, just imagine how many lives could be saved.
