Benjamin Laub (February 23, 1984), better known by his stage name Grieves, is an American hip hop artist based in Seattle, Washington. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he lived in Colorado, San Diego, and New York City. He was signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment.

Benjamin was born in Chicago, Illinois, moved to Colorado at a young age with his family and relocated to Seattle, Washington to pursue his music career. Laub currently resides in Seattle. On February 1, 2010 Rhymesayers Entertainment announced that they had signed Laub to their roster and that Laub would be re-releasing his self titled album 88 Keys & Counting in conjunction with a new EP called The Confessions of Mr. Modest. Both albums were released by Rhymesayers Entertainment on March 2, 2010.
