Examples of deposits in a Sentence

  1. Natalie Wood:

Oh goodness, if I was n’t able to touch [ that money ], I would n’t have electricity, water, or a roof over my head, but you know, the thing a lot of us forget, Natalie Wood included, is you put down first, last, and a security deposit and you’re in a place. But how about all the deposits necessary for water, gas, electricity — all of our things had to be put in storage. Even doing that we lost more than half of everything we owned … and finding a motel that would accept us with dogs was not easy. It was costly … We’re still coming to terms with everything, so we’re not pulled together by any stretch of the imagination, but we’re trying. I ’m trying very hard to make it a home.

  2. Susannah Streeter:

The deposit insurance scheme in the US is significantly more generous than in Europe, and there is a growing expectation that the US Treasury will move swiftly to fully guarantee deposits if more banks turn insolvent.

  3. Reed Hastings:

If every major corporation takes 1 % of their cash and deposits it in a Black bank, it will be transformative in that sector, now, it's not going to solve all of our problems, but it will make a real difference and it's fairly easy for companies.

  4. Zsakhiem James:

We try to meet people in the absence of crisis, that's one of the things that helps us build that social currency. We make those deposits in the community where when things happen we can make a withdrawal on that trust.

  5. Armen Gasparyan:

If banks from the top 30 get into trouble, the government will have to save them at any price, it would be very painful for such a bank to go under, as it could spark a crisis of confidence in which the population withdraws deposits en masse and interbank lending rates spike.
