Wikipedia
contract of adhesion
A standard form contract (sometimes referred to as a contract of adhesion, a leonine contract, a take-it-or-leave-it contract, or a boilerplate contract) is a contract between two parties, where the terms and conditions of the contract are set by one of the parties, and the other party has little or no ability to negotiate more favorable terms and is thus placed in a "take it or leave it" position. While these types of contracts are not illegal per se, there exists a potential for unconscionability. In addition, in the event of an ambiguity, such ambiguity will be resolved contra proferentem, i.e. against the party drafting the contract language.

contract of adhesion
A contract of adhesion, also known as a standard form contract or boilerplate contract, refers to a contract drafted by one party (typically a business with stronger bargaining power) and signed by another party (usually a consumer with less power). These contracts are often pre-printed and offered on a "take-it-or-leave-it" basis, allowing the consumer little or no ability to negotiate or modify the terms. The consumer only has the option to agree or disagree with the terms while signing the contract. These types of contracts are common in insurance policies, leases, and other commercial and financial agreements.
