Wikipedia

  1. COMBO

COMBO, or COMBO Culture Kidnapper, is a French street artist who started by doing graffiti art in 2003 in the South of France. After seven years spent painting from Monaco to Marseille, he moved to Paris in 2010 and became an art director at a major advertising agency. Putting his spray paint cans aside, he then started doing wheat paste. Combo’s work focuses around culture and visual jamming, as illustrated by his cartoon series, in which he manipulates iconic pictures, replacing some elements by others taken from the comics or the video games universe to change these pictures' meaning according to what he wants to express. By appealing to generation Y’s pop culture, Combo hits his target at heart and takes it back to the unfairness that makes our world - whether cultural, financial or identity-related. Combo was "savagely beaten" by "four youths" on 30 January 2015 and suffered a dislocated shoulder after he painted a wall at Porte Dorée near Paris with the word "coexist" written with letters created from religious symbols.

  1. Combo

In video games, a combo is a term that designates a set of actions performed in sequence, usually with strict timing limitations, that yield a significant benefit or advantage. The term originates from fighting games where it is based upon the concept of a striking combination. It has been since applied more generally to everything from puzzle games and shoot 'em ups to sports games. Combos are either used as an essential gameplay element, or used merely as a high score or attack power modifier, or simply as a way to exhibit a flamboyant playing style, not explicitly necessary for victory or survival. In fighting games, combo specifically indicates a timed sequence of moves which produce a cohesive series of hits. The combo requires that an initial hit connects. This hit is then followed by an often predetermined sequence of other hits, each of which leaves the opponent unable or almost unable to block or otherwise avoid the following hit in the sequence. Depending on the game design, a combo can have a final, sometimes special, hit or be infinite, limited only by the player's skill, patience or finger dexterity. In some cases, each additional hit has an increasing negative modifier, in order to balance gameplay, for example SNK's The Last Blade, Capcom's Street Fighter IV or Arc System Works' BlazBlue series.

First of all, it’s great self-defense, but I feel like it’s a really great combo of cardio and toning. I feel like if you’re having a stressful week or a tough day, I’d rather punch a bag like crazy than do a pushup. It’s a good little escape.

James played the same way he always plays... the same way he was playing in Houston. Handling the ball, being a past-first guard, trying to get his guys good looks, coach put him at the point... I think that’s his natural position. Point, combo guard. For him to come out and get 14 assists, 12 rebounds for us at the point guard was key.
