Caucasia, also known as the Caucasus region, is an area situated between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea and mainly occupied by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and parts of Southern Russia. It is a significant geopolitical region known for its diverse ethnicities, languages, historical conflicts, and also for its rich natural resources. The region gets its name from the Caucasus Mountain Range, one of the highest in the world.

Caucasia is a municipality located in the subregion of Bajo Cauca Antioquia department, in Colombia. Bounded on the north by the department of Córdoba, in the east by the municipalities of Antioquia in Nechí and El Bagre, on the south by the municipality of Zaragoza, and west to the town of Cáceres, and is located 287 km from Medellín. In sports they have the "Bajo Cauca F.C." that is playing in the Colombian Football Federation's Second Division.
