In cannabis culture Box is a term widely used to describe 100. 1 lb packages of Cannabis flower. BOXxx conveys a box (100 lbs( x 10 boxes . Or 1000 1 lb packages of cannabis flower.. This quantity is also referred to far less frequently now days as a Case by some. . CASE and BoXxx both reference 1000 1lb packages of cannabis flower. The use of the word CASE to describe the subject matter made many people uncomfortable using it to convey quantities of product available. As you would not want to associate 1000 lbs of weed (a case) with a much more common association of the word Case (Legal) Individuals looking to purchase a case of weed in its context made many players uncomfortable. So adding 2 x's too the word BOX gave it expanded meaning. Eliminating the need to use the word case.
