    Bombasa is a name in Aringati a sudanic tribe in Westnile of Uganda. It's derived from a noun and a verb. Obogo which means a lion and Ombasaru which means trapper. The two words which added up Obogo-Ombasaru meaning a lion trapper. The name was shortened Obombasa and later the letter 'O' was cut and it became BOMBASA.

    Etymology: Obombasa the ground father of Bombasa who leaved during the reign of Sultan Fadelmula Aduu. He used to trap wild animals.
