  1. banded rattlesnake

A "banded rattlesnake" is not a specific species, but rather a term that could refer to various species of rattlesnakes that are characterized by having distinct band or ring patterns across their bodies. This includes certain subspecies within the Crotalus genus of venomous pit vipers, such as the Banded Rock Rattlesnake and the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. These snakes are predominantly found in North and South America. The unique feature of rattlesnakes is the rattle on the end of their tail, which they use as a warning signal.
