    Back Here is the debut single by British pop rock band BBMak. It was written by the three members of the group (Mark Barry, Christian Burns and Stephen McNally) along with songwriter Phil Thornalley. It appears on BBMak's debut studio album Sooner or Later. "Back Here" was released in the United Kingdom on 16 August 1999, where it reached the top 40 on the UK Singles Chart in August, peaking at number 37. It proved to be more successful in North America, rising to number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in July 2000 and remaining in the top 40 for 24 weeks. It also spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and reached number 11 in Canada. In February 2001, the single was re-released in the United Kingdom, where it made the top 10 this time around, debuting and peaking at number five.
