Arya 2
Arya 2 is a 2009 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Sukumar. Starring Allu Arjun, Navdeep and Kajal Aggarwal, it is a spiritual sequel to the romantic action film Arya. Devi Sri Prasad composed the film's music, while Aditya Babu and Bhogavalli Prasad produced the film under the Aditya Arts banner.The film features the three leading characters from the prequel: Arya, Ajay and Geetha, with Allu Arjun reprising his role as the titular protagonist. While Arya dealt with a love triangle between the three characters, Arya 2 revolves around the friendship between Arya and Ajay, two orphans who met at an orphanage but were raised separately. Arya grows up to become a psychotic who is ready to sacrifice anything for the sake of Ajay, who becomes a businessman and despises Arya but pretends not to. Arya undergoes a transformation, joins Ajay's software company as an employee, and later attempts to rescue Geetha after she is kidnapped by her violent family members. The film was theatrically released on 27 November 2009. It was also dubbed in Malayalam under the same title, in Odia as I Love You Geeta & in Hindi as Arya: Ek Deewana (2010). Later, it was remade twice in Bengali. One of them was Ami Shudhu Cheyechi Tomay which was jointly produced by West Bengal Tollywood & Dhallywood. Another Bengali remake was solely produced by Bangladesh as Ajob Prem.
