Arundo Donax, also known as giant cane or giant reed, is a species of tall perennial cane-like grass native to the Mediterranean region. It is usually found in damp or wet environments like riverbanks or marshes. Its stem can grow up to 6-10 meters tall and 2-4 cm in diameter. However, it is also considered an invasive species in some regions due to its quick growth and potential to overtake local flora.
