Acrodus
Acrodus (from Greek: άκρος ákros, 'high' and Greek: ὀδούς odoús 'tooth') is an extinct genus of cartilaginous fish from the Permian to Paleocene periods. Acrodus anningiae was named by Louis Agassiz in honor of the pioneering English paleontologist Mary Anning.
