I always wonder were developers come up with a name for an app. I think What’sapp, which a lot of people in foreign countries pronounce what’s up, is in a way slang for “what’s happening with you?” Or “give me an update on yourself!” Or “look, this is what is happening in my day!” (Like When you enclose a picture). Generally what friend or associates might say to each other -- like what’s Appening?
