wallflower
Erysimum, or wallflower, is a genus of flowering plants in the cabbage family, Brassicaceae. It includes more than 150 species, both popular garden plants and many wild forms. The genus Cheiranthus is sometimes included here in whole or in part. Erysimum has since the early 21st century been ascribed to a monogeneric cruciferous tribe, Erysimeae, characterised by sessile, stellate (star-shaped) and/or malpighiaceous (two-sided) trichomes, yellow to orange flowers and multiseeded siliques.

wallflower
A wallflower is generally defined as a shy or introverted person who avoids social activities and would rather stay unnoticed on the sidelines, especially at social events. The term is often used to describe someone, for instance, at a party who chooses to observe rather than participate in the activity. The metaphor comes from the image of someone sticking to the wall, like a climbing plant or a "wallflower".

The only way to attack this problem was to get out there and find more data on these rare animals.
