Tropical
Musica tropical or tropical music is a broad term for vocal and instrumental music with "tropical" flavor usually associated with Caribbean music. It is part of an even broader category of Latin music. Usually it is an upbeat dance music, but also includes ballads. It features complex, syncopated rhythms and draws from traditional music forms. Its sound is based on traditional percussion and string musical instruments, such as timbales, congas, bongo, the tres, but can also incorporate other instruments and advanced machinery, such as synthesizers and drum machines. The term "tropical" is commonly used as a music format by Latin music radio stations. Among the most popular tropical styles are salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bachata. Tropical music entered Chile first in the 1930s with the guaracha. In the 1940s mambo and cha cha cha orchestras became a popular form of tropical music in Chile. In the 1960s cumbia entered Chile and leaving a long-lasting impact on tropical music in that country.

Strengthening is still expected until landfall as Tropical Storm Nicholas continues to move over slightly warmer Gulf waters, it is possible that Tropical Storm Nicholas could become a hurricane just before landfall.
As Tropical Storm Beta approaches, I call on all Texans in the Gulf Coast region to heed the advice of local officials and take the necessary precautions to keep themselves and their loved ones out of harm's way, the State of Texas is prepared to support communities in the path of the storm, where substantial amounts of rainfall and flash flooding are a significant threat. We will continue to closely monitor the storm and work collaboratively with officials to ensure our fellow Texans are safe.
Kottlowski said. How fast or slow this non-tropical system moves will be an important factor on where Irma is steered this weekend into next week. The speed of this feature will determine when and how much Irma gets pulled northward or whether Irma continues on more of a westward track. This amount of uncertainty means that the entire southern and eastern U.S. should monitor Irma this week. Residents along the coast are urged to start preparing and making sure plans are in place to deal with the worst case scenario. This includes plans on how to evacuate and what is important to bring with you and your family. As we saw just 10 days ago with Harvey, it is important to be ready to evacuate, Evan Myers said. Be prepared with a list of items you would need to take if you had 30 minutes' notice or one hour's notice or six hours or a day to evacuate. Due to Irma following so closely on Irma's heels and since FEMA and other government resources will be strained, more preparation and storm aftermath may rest on individuals, Evan Myers said. It may be crucial to evacuate ahead of the storm, so preparation is key. If Irma were to make landfall as a Category 4 or 5 storm somewhere in the U.S., it would be in historical territory. The U.S. has not sustained a direct hit from two Category 4 or above hurricanes in more than 100 years.
It's going to sound stupid, but it felt like a tropical storm growing up in Florida, like the winds like that, i wouldn't say a hurricane, because I think that's a bit extreme, but it resembled a tropical storm.
Aerosol decrease may lead to good health, but on the other hand, hurricane risk increases. This is where good things accompany bad things. It's kind of like pros and cons. tropical cyclones are fairly random animals, and they respond to the random nature of the atmosphere at any given time.
