Examples of Rory in a Sentence

  1. Rory McIlroy:

I gave Rory McIlroy a lot of chances. I didn't make that many( because) I was on the wrong side of the hole all day, putting defensively, for the most part I've just been managing my game well. When I've been missing greens I've been getting up and down.

  2. Ryder Cup captain Paul McGinley:

In hindsight Rory McIlroy would wish Rory McIlroy hadn't played that game of soccer but it could have happened to Rory McIlroy walking down the street, it wasn't a dirty tackle, the game wasn't played at a high tempo, Rory McIlroy just happened to be running and went over on Rory McIlroy ankle.

  3. Eddie Pepperell:

I just figured it was going to be a tap-in, i was kind of relieved I didn't have to face a three-footer in front of all those people, and then obviously when it went in, what can I say, it was pretty awesome. The effort lifted Pepperell to 14-under-par, which at the time looked to have given him a shot at winning but ultimately was only good enough for a share of third two shots behind champion Rory McIlroy. The drama at the 17th was not over yet, however, as Jhonattan Vegas was in the next group to approach the hole. The Venezuelan's tee shot barely cleared the water and his ball stopped, unpromisingly for his birdie chances, some 70 feet from the hole. Undeterred, he banged it home to join Pepperell at 14-under with the longest putt ever made at the hole, according to the PGA Tour.

  4. Natalia Uglow:

I was concerned about her and said to Ana to speak to the teachers and ask them to see a doctor and phone me back. I told her to exaggerate her symptoms if necessary to get the result and say that her parents were concerned, i also offered to speak to them myself. I believe Ana spoke to Mr. (Rory) Hambly as she reported back that Mr. Hambly had told her that she would have had a higher temperature if she had a chest infection and advised her to take paracetamol.

  5. Tommy Fleetwood:

First round of the Open, Rory McIlroy can only lose it on the first day, it's nice to have shot a good round and get going and move on to tomorrow.
