    Nirmal is a town and the district headquarters of Nirmal district in the Indian state of Telangana.The town is surrounded by various ponds and There are many forts in and around Nirmal. Khilla, Bathees Gargh and Shyam Gardh.It is located about 222 kilometres (138 mi) north of the state capital Hyderabad and 68 kilometres (42 mi) from Nizamabad.

    Nirmal is a Municipality in Adilabad district in Telangana, India .The name Nirmal is derived from one of its famous rulers, Nimma Naidu, in the 17th century. He was a great patron of arts, encouraging the art of toy making out of teak and a unique tender wood, Poniki, which flourished in his time bringing significance to the town. Today, toy making is a small-scale industry in the town.
