It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump from October 2003 to June 2013, with its chapters collected in sixteen tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation by Madhouse aired from July to December 2009. The anime was licensed for English release in North America by Sentai Filmworks.
